Lesser sea catfish [Galeichthys peruvianus]
Description
The lesser sea catfish is a species of sea catfish native to the eastern Pacific Ocean. It is found from Panama to Peru. This species prefers sandy or muddy habitats in shallow waters and estuaries. It is known for its small size compared to other sea catfish, reaching a maximum length of 35 cm.
