Largescale Mullet [Mugil macrolepis]
Description
The Largescale Mullet is a marine species that inhabits coastal waters, usually found in muddy bottoms or in brackish lagoons and estuaries. It has a thick body with a small head, and is silver in color with dark longitudinal lines on its sides. It is distinguished by its large scales, which are much larger than those of other mullets.
