Description

The Korean lamprey is a species of lamprey that is native to the Korean Peninsula and some parts of Japan. It is a parasitic species that feed on other fish species by attaching to them with their round, sucker-like mouth. This species has a slender, elongated body and can reach a length of up to 40 cm. They inhabit both fresh and salt water, with adults living in the ocean and migrating into rivers to spawn.
