Korean Conger [Japonoconger koreanus]
Description
The Korean Conger, or Japonoconger koreanus, is a species of conger eel found in the waters around the Korean peninsula. It inhabits the sandy and muddy bottoms of the seafloor at depths between 100 and 500 meters. It is a nocturnal predator, feeding on small fish and crustaceans. It can be identified by its long, slender body, and the absence of pectoral fins.
