Knob Coral [Madracis auretenra]

Description
Madracis auretenra, popularly known as the Knob Coral, is a species of colonial stony corals in the family Pocilloporidae. This species is found in the Atlantic Ocean and is predominantly yellow in color. It thrives in clear, warm waters and is commonly found in shallow reef environments. The colonies form massive, dome-shaped structures that are covered in small, round knobs, which give it its common name. The Knob Coral feeds by capturing tiny organisms from the water with their tentacles.
