Kerguelen Shag [Leucocarbo verrucosus]
Description
The Kerguelen Shag is a species of cormorant that is endemic to the Kerguelen Islands in the southern Indian Ocean. It is a medium-sized black and white shag with a blue eye-ring, a crest on the forehead and nape, and pink feet. Its population is estimated to be over 3000 pairs.
