Description

A large species of sea snail that is native to the northwest Pacific, from Siberia to Japan. They have a round, inflated shell with a low spire and a large aperture. The shell is typically tan to brown in color, often with darker markings. They are carnivorous, feeding on bivalves and polychaete worms.
