Description
The Ivory Barnacle or Arcovestia ivelae is a small marine crustacean found in the intertidal zones of both tropical and temperate oceans. It is commonly found attached to rocks, ship hulls, and other submerged surfaces. It has a shell composed of calcite plates that provide protection against predators.
