Description
Hydractinia milleri is a species of marine hydroids that forms colonies on the gastropod shells inhabited by hermit crabs. The individual polyps within colonies are specialized for different functions. This species is known from its type locality in San Juan Islands, Washington, USA, and is characterized by its polyps bearing numerous long and slender tentacles.
