Honeycomb Worm [Dinatys arenaria]

Description
The Honeycomb worm (Dinatys arenaria) is a marine species that predominantly inhabits intertidal zones and can be found from the middle shore to the shallow subtidal region. They are known for creating tube-like structures using sand grains and shell fragments, which provide shelter and form unique reefs. These reefs are a critical habitat for a variety of other marine organisms. The worm itself is small, reaching a maximum length of 3 cm, with a segmented, flexible body and a crown of tentacles used for feeding.
