Description
This marine worm species is known for its heat tolerance, surviving in habitats near deep-sea hydrothermal vents that can reach temperatures over 80°C. They are found in the northeastern Pacific Ocean. They have a segmented body, with a length of up to 12 cm, and are typically reddish-brown in color.
