Leptoseris hawaiiensis, also known as Hairy Green Leptoseris, is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. It is typically found at depths of 50 to 130 meters in areas with moderate current. This coral species is recognized by its green color and hair-like structures on its surface, which are actually polyps extended for feeding.
