Greater Tanaid [Paratanais robustus]

Description
Paratanais robustus, or the Greater Tanaid, is a species of marine crustacean that occurs in the North Atlantic Ocean. This species is larger than its relative, the Lesser Tanaid, and is characterized by a robust body and larger appendages. They are typically found in deeper waters, where they burrow into the sediment and feed on detritus.
