Great Cormorant [Phalacrocorax carbo]
Description
The Great Cormorant is a large black bird, with a long tail and yellow throat-patch. Adults have white thigh patches in the breeding season. They can be found in freshwater and marine wetlands in many parts of the world. They feed on a diet of fish caught through diving.
