Golden Tail Moray [Gymnothorax miliaris]
Description
The Golden Tail Moray is a medium-sized species that reaches up to 70 cm in length. It is characterized by its elongated body, slightly compressed at the tail. The body color is dark greenish-brown, with small yellow spots that extend to the tail. This species is nocturnal and hides in crevices during the day. It is mostly found in the Western Atlantic, from North Carolina to Brazil, and in the Eastern Atlantic, from Senegal to Angola.
