Glossy Ibis [Plegadis falcinellus]

Description
The Glossy Ibis is a wading bird in the ibis family Threskiornithidae. It is the most widespread ibis species, breeding in scattered sites in warm regions of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Atlantic and Caribbean regions of the Americas. It is a medium-sized ibis with a dark coloration that often appears iridescent in the light. It's known to live in a variety of habitats, but favors marshes, swamps, and lands with standing water.
