Giant sponge [Hyattella dromia]

Description
The Giant sponge, scientifically named Hyattella dromia, is a species of marine sponge that prefers rocky habitats. It can be found in the waters around New Zealand. It is distinguished by its large size, reaching dimensions of more than 60 centimeters in diameter. The sponge is composed of a dense network of spicules, giving it a firm texture.
