Description
Histodermella robusta, also known as the Giant Sea Spider, is a species of deep-sea pycnogonid. This benthic species is typically found in cold water environments such as the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They are known for their large body size compared to other members of the family Pycnogonidae. Their body is covered with numerous tubercles and they have long, slender legs. They are carnivorous and feed on other marine invertebrates.
