Description
The Giant Plicate is a large marine bivalve species found in the deep waters of the western Pacific Ocean. It features a distinctively plicate (folded) shell, often reaching sizes of up to 15 cm in length. The color of the shell ranges from light beige to deep brown. This species is known to live in sandy or muddy sediments.
