Description
The Giant Ghost Crab, scientifically known as Inegocia maxima, is the largest known species in the genus Inegocia. Found in the waters of the Western Pacific, these crabs inhabit sandy and muddy substrates in intertidal zones. They have a pale coloration and are characterized by their large size and strong claws. They are primarily nocturnal and feed on small marine organisms.
