Description
The Muricea fruticosa, or Fringed Sea Fan, is an upright gorgonian that is found in the Eastern Tropical Pacific. It is known for its fragile, bushy colonies that can reach up to 2 meters in height. This species possesses long, slender branches that are covered with small, feathery polyps. The color of the polyps varies from white, yellow, to orange.
