Description
The Flame Hawkfish, also known as the Brilliant Hawkfish, is a brightly colored species found in the tropical waters of the Pacific Ocean. They inhabit coral reefs and are known for their distinctive red coloring and black stripes. They are carnivorous, feeding on small invertebrates and crustaceans. A distinguishing feature of the Flame Hawkfish is their ability to 'perch' on coral using their pectoral fins.
