False Heart Cockle [Corculum impressum]

Description
Corculum impressum, also known as the False Heart Cockle, is a marine bivalve species in the family Cardiidae. It is very similar in appearance to the Heart Cockle, but slightly smaller and has a less pronounced heart shape. It can be found in the western Pacific Ocean, most commonly around the Philippines and Indonesia. Like other cockles, it is a filter feeder and lives buried in soft substrates on the ocean floor.
