Eastern Skistodiaptomus [Skistodiaptomus oregonensis]

Description
This species is native to the western parts of North America, particularly in the Oregon region. It is a small, freshwater copepod that is typically found in calm, still waters. It has a greenish coloration and is slightly larger than S. pallidus, reaching up to 2.5mm in length.
