Description
The Dwarf Pygmy Squid, also known as Enigmonia pygmaea, is a small cephalopod that resides in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region. Similar to its relative, the Variable Pygmy Squid, this species also rarely exceeds 1.5 cm in length. This species is known for its distinctive patterning, with a vibrant, asymmetrical design that can change rapidly for camouflage or communication. The Dwarf Pygmy Squid is often found in seagrass beds, where it attaches itself to vegetation.
