Description
Duncan's Coral is a solitary, deep-sea coral species that is part of the Caryophylliidae family. This species is characterized by its elongated, cylindrical calices. They are predominantly found in the Pacific Ocean at depths ranging from 400 to 2000 meters. Similar to other Acanthocyathus species, they feed on small particles in the water using their tentacles.
