Description
Dispio uncinata is a species of marine polychaete worm that belongs to the family Spionidae. This species is known to inhabit sandy sediments of the intertidal zone, and is distributed in the Atlantic and Mediterranean area. It features a small, elongated body with a cylindrical shape and brownish color. The distinguishing characteristic of this species is the pair of curved chaetae on the fifth segment, from which its name 'uncinata' (hooked) is derived.
