Deepwater Forcepia [Forcepia Profundi]

Description
Deepwater Forcepia is a less common species in the Forcepia genus. As its name suggests, it is often found in extremely deep marine environments, sometimes several kilometers below the surface. It has a dense, compact structure to withstand high pressure and low light conditions. Like other Forcepia species, it feeds by filtering water for plankton and organic material.
