Description
Cymbasoma thompsonii is a species of marine copepod belonging to the family Monstrillidae. These are small planktonic animals, mostly transparent with a yellowish or pinkish hue, and can be found in all the world's oceans. They are filter feeders, sieving planktonic organisms from the seawater.
