Crested Turban [Turbo cornutus]

Description
This marine species is known for its large, robust shell that is often covered in coralline algae. It is found in the intertidal zone to depths of 20 m, from Japan to the Philippines. The Crested Turban's shell can grow up to 15 cm in diameter. It is an herbivore, primarily grazing on algae.
