Common Spiny Trough Shell [Murexsul varicosus]

Description
A marine gastropod mollusk species found primarily in the Pacific Ocean. They are part of the family Muricidae. They have a shell that is elongated and narrow, with spines along the outer lip. They typically inhabit shallow coastal waters, often hiding in crevices and under rocks during the day and coming out to feed at night.
