Description

Paranymphon hispidum, also known as the Common Sea Spider, is a species found in the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. It has a small body size of about 2-4 mm with leg spans of up to 20 mm. This species is usually brown to orange in color and is characterized by the presence of setae (bristle-like structures) on its body. The Common Sea Spider is predominantly found on hard substrates, including rocks and shells, and feeds on small invertebrates.
