Description
The Chola Guitarfish is a species of ray in the Rhinobatidae family. It is found in the western Pacific Ocean, from the South China Sea and the East China Sea to the coasts of Japan. It is a demersal species that inhabits sandy or muddy bottoms. It has a shark-like body with a flat, wide rostrum and two dorsal fins. It feeds on a variety of prey, including fish, crustaceans, and mollusks.
