Description
Cadenella mclaughlinae, also known as Cadenella's Hermit Crab, is a species of marine hermit crab. They inhabit the warmer waters of the Pacific Ocean, particularly around the coasts of Australia and New Zealand. They are characterized by their small size, unique shell choice and the pair of large claws used for defense and feeding. They are typically found in intertidal zones, living inside the empty shells of gastropods.
