Cactus Coral [Pavona cactus]

Description
Cactus Coral, scientifically known as Pavona cactus, is a species of hard corals (Scleractinia). It has a distinct leaf or plate-like structure which resembles a cactus, hence its common name. The colonies of this species can be found in a variety of reef environments, and they are often brownish-green or brownish-yellow. This species is widespread across the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific area.
