Description
Halopteris filicina, commonly known as Brown seaweed, is a species of brown algae in the family Sargassaceae. It is found in shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean, particularly in the coastal regions. It thrives in rocky substrates and forms dense, tangled stands. It has a unique dichotomous branching pattern which distinguishes it from other members of the genus.
