Description
The Brown Sea Fan, or Echinodictyum brunneum, is a species of soft coral that inhabits the deeper parts of the ocean, usually around 20-40 meters deep. This species is characterized by a brown or dark orange color and a fan-like shape. It is found throughout the Pacific Ocean, particularly around Japan and Australia. The coral feeds on floating organic matter and plankton, using its polyps to capture food from the water column.
