Bristly Crab [Hemiarthrus abdominalis]

Description
The Bristly Crab, scientifically known as Hemiarthrus abdominalis, is a marine arthropod species known to inhabit the North Pacific Ocean, specifically the Bering Sea to Japan and to southern California. These crabs dwell in muddy sand or gravel substrates at depths ranging from 20 to 200 meters. They have a characteristic oval-shaped body covered in bristles, with spiny rostrums and a pair of large, unequal claws.
