Bristlemouth [Cyclothone acclinidens]
Description
The Bristlemouth is a small, bioluminescent fish that resides in the deep sea. They are one of the most abundant vertebrates on earth. They have a slender body, large mouth, and bristle-like teeth, hence the name 'Bristlemouth'. They usually stay in the mid-water depths during daytime and migrate to the surface at night to feed on plankton.
