Bristle worm [Laonice weddellensis]

Description
Laonice weddellensis is a marine species of polychaete worms. This species inhabits the Southern Ocean around Antarctica. It lives in the soft sediments of the deep sea, where it burrows into the mud. The worm is characterized by its elongated body which is covered in bristles or chaetae. It feeds on small particles of organic matter in the sediment.
