Bristle Eel [Xenomystax atrarius]
Description
This species is found in the Western Central Atlantic: southern Florida, USA and the Bahamas to northern South America. It lives near the sea floor, at depths of 366 - 732 meters. It has an elongated body with a pointed snout and small eyes. It is known to be a solitary species, feeding mainly on invertebrates.
