Brazilian Tanaid Shrimp [Kalliapseudes macsweenyi]

Description
This species is native to the waters around Brazil. It is a small, slender crustacean, much like its relatives in the Kalliapseudes genus. It is distinguished by its subtle color differences, with a slightly darker, more brownish body color. It shares its habitat and diet preferences with other Kalliapseudes species, residing in burrows in sandy or muddy bottoms and feeding on detritus and small invertebrates.
