Description
The Branching Sponge, or Axinella damicornis, is a sponge species native to the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, particularly around the British Isles. It is characterized by its highly branching form and light color, usually white or pale yellow. The sponge prefers hard substrates and can be found in a variety of depths, from subtidal zones to deeper waters.
