Description
The Bowmouth Guitarfish, also known as the Mud Skate, is a species of ray in the Rhinobatidae family. It inhabits the coastal waters of the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from the Red Sea and East Africa to Papua New Guinea, north to Japan, and south to Australia. It has a distinctive appearance with a wide and thick body, a pointed snout, and a large mouth. They are known to feed on crustaceans, mollusks, and small fishes.
