Description
Coenocyathus bowersi, commonly known as the Bow Tie Coral, is a species of solitary coral. It is found in the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean, often at depths of 200-400 meters. The polyps of this species are white or pale pink and extend from a hard, tubular, chalice-like skeleton. This species is nocturnal, with the polyps emerging to feed at night.
