Blotcheye Soldierfish [Myripristis murdjan]
Description
Blotcheye Soldierfish are robust, nocturnal-feeling reef fish with striking eyes and a bold, mottled look. During dives, they’re commonly seen sheltering in caves and overhangs, where they cruise slowly or hover as they pick at small food items—often becoming more active as light fades.
