Black-Vented Damsel [Dischistodus chrysopoecilus]
Description
Known for its yellowish color and black ventral area, this species is common in shallow coral reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific, from the Maldives to Samoa, north to southern Japan, south to Australia. They are territorial and aggressive, especially towards their own species.
