Description
The Black-axil Chromis or Sceptrella axillaris is a species of damselfish endemic to the western Pacific Ocean. It is a popular species among aquarists due to its striking appearance and hardy nature. Its body is a shimmering blue-green, with a dark black patch located under the pectoral fin (hence its name).
