Banded longneck eel [Strophidon lymnae]
Description
The Banded longneck eel, or Strophidon lymnae, is a species of Moray eel found in the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. It has a distinctive pattern of dark and light bands across its body and can grow up to 300 centimeters long. This nocturnal predator is commonly found in coastal and estuarine habitats.
