Baird's Hairy Crab [Hemiarthrus bairdii]

Description
Baird's Hairy Crab, or Hemiarthrus bairdii, is an ocean-dwelling crustacean found in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Massachusetts to the Gulf of Mexico. They typically reside in sandy or muddy habitats at depths of 10 to 90 meters. The crab is named for the dense setae or 'hair' covering its carapace and appendages. They are detritus feeders, consuming organic matter from the ocean floor.
